1. What information we collect and how we use it

1.1 Children's personal information that we collect and use with your authorization

The purpose of collecting the personal information of children is to provide them with products and/or services, and to ensure that we comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other regulatory requirements. You have the right to choose whether or not to provide the information we have requested, but in most cases, if you do not provide the child's personal information, we may not be able to provide the relevant products or services or respond to queries.

Xiaomi will only collect and use children's personal information for the purposes described in these Rules. We may process children's relevant personal information in the course of providing the following services and features:

1.1.1 Browsing images

When you or your child browse images in Wallpaper Carousel, we collect information such as the IDs of images you view. To optimize your browsing experience, we resize images to fit your screen. In order to deliver such services, we collect information including device identifier (Android ID or OAID), device type, Android and MIUI version information, Wallpaper Carousel version, language settings, device resolution, and network type.

1.1.2 Marking images

Your child can add an image to favorites, remove it from their carousel, or subscribe to its category. In order to deliver such services, we collect information such as device identifier (Android ID or OAID), the IDs of images they delete, of their favorites, and of their subscriptions.

In order to protect the physical and mental health of children, when a user is signed in to a child account, the ability to browse, mark, and subscribe to images will be subject to age-related filters that block content that may not be suitable for children.

1.2 Personal information you may choose whether to authorize us to collect and use

To improve you and your child's experience using Wallpaper Carousel, we may collect and use their personal information for the following additional features to work. If your child does not provide this personal information, they can still use Wallpaper Carousel, but may not be able to use some additional features. The additional features include:

Syncing settings

To keep your child's Wallpaper Carousel settings up to date across devices, we collect information including their Xiaomi Account ID, subscriptions, and in-app settings (i.e. update frequency, wallpaper updates using mobile data, and network type). We link the settings to the account so that their settings will be ready when they sign in to the same account on a different device.

If you do not agree to our collection and use of the above information, you may choose not to use the related features, and we will not collect and use the personal information. This will not affect your usage of other Wallpaper Carousel features.

2. Retention policy

• Edit your child's profile. Go to Wallpaper Carousel > Settings, tap the profile photo in the upper-right corner, sign in to your Xiaomi Account (if needed), tap your name on the Xiaomi Account page, and change the profile photo, name, gender, and other information on Personal info page.

If you have previously agreed to us using your child's personal information for the aforementioned purposes, you may change your mind at any time by writing to us or contacting us on https://privacy.mi.com/support.

3.2 Your rights to your child's personal information

Depending on applicable laws and regulations, you have the right to access, rectification, and erasure of personal information that we hold about your child (hereinafter referred to as "the request").

You may also access, update, and delete the details relating to the personal information in your child's Xiaomi Account at https://account.xiaomi.com or by signing into your account on your device. For additional information, please contact us via https://privacy.mi.com/support.

The request should meet the requirements of applicable laws and the following conditions:

• The request is submitted through Xiaomi's exclusive request channel detailed above and for the protection of the child's information security, the request should be in writing (unless the local law explicitly recognizes the oral request).

• You provide sufficient information to enable Xiaomi to verify your identity and ensure that you are the data subject or legally authorized to act on the data subject's behalf.

Once we obtain sufficient information to confirm that your request can be processed, we shall proceed to respond to your request within any timeframe set out under your applicable data protection laws. In detail:

• Based on the requirements of applicable laws, a copy of the child's personal data collected and processed by us will be provided upon your request free of charge. For any extra requests for relevant information, we may charge a reasonable fee based on actual administrative costs according to and if permitted by the applicable laws.

• • If any information we are holding on the child is incorrect or incomplete, they are entitled to have their personal information corrected or completed based on the purpose of use.

• Based on the requirements of applicable laws, you may have the right to request the deletion or removal of your child's personal information. We shall consider the grounds regarding your erasure request and take reasonable steps, including technical measures. Please note that we may not be able to immediately remove the information from the backup system due to applicable law and/or technological limitations. 3.4 Canceling a service or account

To cancel a specific product or service, go to Settings > About Wallpaper Carousel > Privacy > Cancel services.

If you or your child wish to cancel the Xiaomi Account, please note that the cancellation will prevent you from using the full range of Xiaomi products and services. To protect your or others' legitimate rights and interests, we will judge whether or not to support your request for cancellation based on your use of various Xiaomi products and services.
