With Yellow pages, you can check your location, search phone numbers and local businesses, check for updates, give suggestions and feedback, and more. To provide these services, we may collect information including your location, Mi Account, mobile carrier, your phone number's registration location, records for calls between you and the contacts in Yellow pages, Yellow pages version number, your feedback details, app use time, searched terms, and tap behavior. Your location and call records are accessed and used locally, but are not uploaded. Likewise, your searched terms are only saved locally. We use the aforementioned personal information to improve our services and enhance this feature.

1.1.2 Caller ID

With Yellow pages, you can flag specific phone numbers, identify potential spam and fraudulent callers, and see information about callers not in your contacts. To identify unknown numbers, we may need information including your incoming and outgoing calls, call records, and unknown callers and senders. We may also collect information including the numbers that you mark as spam and one-ring robocalls you received to inform others about potential spam callers.

1.2 You are fully informed that we may collect and use personal information without your consent if:

1.2.1 The personal information is vital to national security and defense;

1.2.2 The personal information is vital to public safety, public health, and major public interests;

Regarding information collected to provide basic services, your location, mobile carrier, your phone number's registration location, Yellow pages version number, and searched terms will not be stored on our servers. Other personal information will be retained on our servers for 6 months.

Regarding personal information collected for the purpose of caller ID, incoming and outgoing call information will not be stored. Data regarding flagged calls will be stored for 6 months.

4. Your rights

4.1 Controlling settings

  • You can turn permissions for location services on or off in Settings;

  • The first time you open Yellow pages, we will ask you to agree to our Privacy Policy. If you choose not to agree, you may tap "Cancel", and we will use a pre-installed local directory to provide limited caller ID services;

  • You can clear your search terms in Search history > Clear history;

  • You can turn caller ID for unknown numbers on or off in Contacts and dialer > Call Settings > Identify unknown numbers.

4.2 Your rights to your personal information
